Construction and interconnection of the substation of "Mpekrevenikos" 150/33kV with the Extra High Voltage Center "Kardia" 150/400kV
At the location of "Mpekrevenikos – Mikri Petra" in the Municipal Community of Demetrios Ypsilantis, Kozani, West
Macedonia.
The photovoltaic park in Kozani is the largest single RES project that has been implemented to date and will be the
largest bifacial solar park in Europe. It is located on an area of 450 hectares with approximately 500.000 solar modules and
includes the construction of a total of 18 photovoltaic installations with solar panels, which are connected to a high voltage
substation under construction within the project and a high voltage transmission line of about 12 km from the substation to Extra
High Voltage Center "Kardia". Our contribution to the construction and interconnection of the project is listed below:
- Excavation, drilling, reinforcement and concreting of all Towers foundations
- Assembling and erection of all Towers
- Assembling and installation of phase conductors & OPGW cables accessories (fittings, Stockbridge Dampers, Bird Diverters
etc.) and Tower insulators
- Wiring, adjustment and fastening of phase conductors and OPGW cables
- Excavation, backfilling with sand, warning mesh installation, backfilling with appropriate material and final layer with
well compacted soil
- Supply, transportation, and installation of the underground cable 150kV (including all necessary machinery and equipment for
the successful and technically sound installation of the line) and its accessories
- Delivery of Evacuation line to the Competent Authority
- Interconnection of the new Substation through the Evacuation Line (Electrification)
